I can finally listen to music and work on the computer.

I have a blackberry phone and with it I was able to down load Pandora internet radio... so now I can actually plug in my ear phones and do my money sites... I love it!!!! and I keep it on low so that I can still hear everything around me... I am still home with the kids and need to know everything that is going on!! 
Have you heard of Pandora internet radio? How do you listen to music when you are online? If you have the luxury of not having kids screaming at each other and you have the house to yourself and can listen to the radio... that is something to not take for granted!!! 
If you do have a Pandora Account, what artists do you download??

I'd like to do that, listening music while browsing the net. But I need to hear my child who is playing downstair. So if he cries I could easily hear his voice. I will check the Pandora sites seems interesting. Happy mylotters!

it is really neat that you can choose what kind of music you like and get similar music along with it. It is just a free site and nothing to do with referrals or money, just something else neat hubby found on the web!! LOL
I understand about having to hear the kids, only they are right next to me, I am in the living room with them next to the tv... that is why it works out great for me that I dont have to hear so much sesame street over and over!! LOL

I dont have pandora account as you say my friend what I do is I try to collect all my favorite music and put them in one playlist then later on will just play them in that way I could have access with it anytime I want

that is so great you get to do that... I would choose radio over the tv, only with kids in the house, I have to keep them preoccupied.... plus the kids programs I have them watch are very educational so that helps too.
only sometimes I just need a break from those shows myself!! LOL ....so now I can actually listen to the music and kind of feel like an adult again...LOL

No, I've never heard of Pandora Internet Radio. I usually keep music going all the time but right now, I'm not listening to any. I could turn on my radio, I guess. Since I got this computer, I've been listening to youtube just about everyday. I have found so many songs on that website that I haven't heard in years! My stereo hasn't been working in a long time and I have found so many of the songs that I used to play on it on youtube. I've just been having a ball! I love music, especially country music and rock'n'roll of the '50s, '60s, and '70s. I majored in music (voice) when I was in college. Tell me more about Pandora. I may be interested in getting an account with them. Kathy.

first, sorry this response is so late... I have not been home as much and my computer time is seriously lacking!!!! 
Pandora radio is an internet radio station and you just sign up and then you make your own type of stations by entering an artist or song and then they play music that would sound like that artist/song. It is really cool....my husband found it first when he went to have our cell phone dealer and the guy showed him all kinds of things he could do with his phone... and now I have it on my cell phone too..so if I am at home, I can turn it on computer...and if I am out, I can turn it on my phone... pretty cool!!!

I have been working in my back yard actually... we didnt finish the bedroom yet--money got a little tight so we had to put off finishing it... and so the back yard needs alot of work, and weeding, and replanting some of the plants...making it nice back there for my kids to play back there...and of course on the warm days the kids are in the kiddie pool!!
