To mainstream America it may appears strange that the African American community has last few days so defiantly claimed Jackson as their own in the wake such ambivalent feelings about the pop star recent years. But in reality it make perfect sense. Families disagree and families fall out and they may even refuse to speak another for a years end but the love never goes away.

I don't know what news you're watching, but I see black people, white people, and Latinos all equally shown mourning the passing of "the gloved one"
that said......the Asian community seems suspiciously absent.
