Plastic menace is eating into our environment but due to certain compulsions we always find it friendly as its convienient. Do you use plastic bags to shop for fruits and veg?

Yes we are using plastic in India, because after band on plastic many howkers and shopowners are providing plastic bag. It is good to carry anything form one place to other. First of all they have to find way how to avoid plastic usage. there are other shopowner whos trying to avoid it, for that public should have awareness.

I am very ashamed that after shopping in the supermarket i usually packed things like fruits and vegetables with the plastic bags before.because the plastic bag is really convenient! Although the plastic bags are are convenient, after all they are non-environmental protection. Now,when I go to the market, I usually take some old plastic bags or envionmental protection shopping bags with me,holding some things like fruits and vegetables. In fact,to the people who love plastic bags, the old ones can be reused as long as they are not broken, aren't they? The envionmental protection is the affair that everyone should insist on paying attention.because we all have only one earth, let us love and protect our homegarden-the earth! have a nice day!

Our stores require it. I've tried to just stick the lettuce directly on the conveyor belt, but they don't seem to approve of that around here. At least the bags are recyclable though.

I am guilty, I still use plastic bags when i go to the store. :( I use them when i buy anything from the store including fruits and vegetables, but I also reuse them when I get home. Plastic bags are great for bathroom garbage cans, cleaning out the cat box, getting rid of left overs but do not want to put in main garbage and stink up the house. To me they have many uses, so I really do not mind using them for my fruits and veggies.

Yes, and we recycle them after use. That way you can help reduce plastic trash in environment.

Most of the time, i prefer not to use plastic bags, when shopping for fruits and vegetables. Because i always bring my shopping bag together with me when i go shopping in the wet market. Only when i had forgotten to bring my shopping bag, then i will use that plastic bags to carry those fruits and vegetables. Because i tried not to build up my plastic bags at home. I had collect a box full of plastic for recycle. So, i think temporarily, i don't want to collect any plastic bags at this moment...
