going to the beaches makes me quite spiritual. when i look at the sea and there is water as long as you can see makes me wonder about the creation. so much water...the sky above. what is all this ? the universe is such a mystery. it makes me feel that it would be nice if someone provides me the answers for all these questions.

I know the feeling. I also enjoy just sitting on the beach, day or night and contemplate what is before me and that which surrounds me. it is so peaceful to be alone at these times but occassionally nice to share with someone special as well. We will never know all the mysteries of the universe. It is very hard for us mere humans to even imagine the scale of time for just this solar system, some say just under 5 billion years. And to understand that in this solar system only one of the planets allowed humanity to develop and to be able to look at this planet, the oceans and the sky and wonder as you are doing now. It is in our nature to ask such questions and also to try to find those answers.

Universe is really full of mystery from the start. I love the nature specially beaches, when you were at the beach, you feel calm and relax, you feel peace when you look at the sea and blue skies lying on the sands. It makes you think and asked many questions about it's mystery. But sometimes it scares me, specially when the ocean gets mad.

I like a sandy beach to lie at the sun but prefer rocks and the sea for contemplation. I also think there are these miracles that are better if they remain a mystery

Throughout my Bible it speaks of God's Creation. "Whatever the Lord pleases He does, In heaven and in earth, In the seas and in all deep places. He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; He makes lightning for the rain; He brings the wind out of His treasuries" (Psalm 135:6-7). Everything we need to know in life is in the Holy Bible.

i've been asking the same question too but it seems that not all questions have an answer. the beach have been one of my favorite places because of the feeling it gives me whenever i hear the waves crashing, whenever i feel the wind, or whenever i see the sunrise/sunset. it makes me feel really small and it makes me feel like i am a part of something bigger. when i also look at the horizon, i always ask myself if there is that one person whom i can share things with, whom i can talk to and understand regardless of race/ethnicity. the experience is heightened too most especially at night when the stars are visible and you can hear the waves. it's really peaceful and it makes you hope that the whole world is just like that. such beautiful places makes us feel really vulnerable from the world. it's sad that other people don't know how to appreciate beauty when they see it. makes us think too that places like these are temporary and if we aren't careful, someday these too may be gone. the universe is indeed a mystery and beyond all the problems, crisis, war, and shallow thinking there are still people whom we can still share our thoughts and feeling with. :) i don't think that our questions should be answered just yet. it's their unfathomable quality that makes it beautiful.
