With the hassles kids going to schools, traffic jams, rush hours, etc, the normal parent is turning out to be abnormal. What more with the economic uncertainty most of the time. The question today is what if more people were to work from home. This is either their own choice or with the blessings of their employers. I personally feel that this is the better solution to curb lots of problems for the working parents. Share your views on this issue. It's not something new but it may turn out something we all cannot afford to take lightly anymore.

It is always good to able to work From home. But its only good when you get your income as needed. Online income is something you just can't rely to earn much here. Although there are few magical people who earn very much online.

Yes, you are absolutely right. So many of us will desire to have the right job or business and able to be at home and still earn money. Let's keep looking and share it when we find it.

well if there is really a job that can be done at home, that would be really good. it will save on gas as people will not go to office, and also they can spend more time with their families. less traffic, less pollution, less expenses (on gas and or fare). more time to rest, more family time.

There will always be. Be diligent and you will be able to find the job most suitable. I am working towards not having to work in office anymore. I know it is not impossible. We all share knowledge here. Someone's got to have an answer another person is looking for.

Working from home is great. However, it is very hard to find a job that can be done from home and the ones that are out there will have several highly qualified people competing for the same position. Working from home has several advantages. 1.) No commuting-no expensive gas to buy, reduction in everyday pollution. 2.) No having to buy certain clothing to wear to work. Most people working from home can work in their pj's. 3.) No spending excess money for lunch/breakfast/coffee/snacks while working. (most people find it very hard to make their own coffee and lunch before they leave for work. 4.) No rushing hassle to get the kids out of the door and to the bus stop or school and then make it to work yourself on a tight schedule. I am sure there are several more reasons that working from home would be great but these are my prime examples. Now if there were just more jobs available to work at home.

I have met many working professionals - both males and females. Given the right choice, many of them would rather work from home. Yes, less stress is their priority. I think if mothers would take the first initiative to explore this method, it would be a good start. In fact, I work partly from home as I am not under direct employment. However, one need to have discipline to work from home.
