Today while I was doing my normal cleaning, my daughter walked up to me with her tea party set. The first thought in my head was...Oh hunny i'm so sorry, but mommy has so much cleaning that needs to get done. But i paused and thought again..she isn't going to want to play tea party much longer..I better take advantage of these precious moments while they last...the cleaning can wait a little longer. We played tea party, rock star, library, shopping, you name it. It was so nice just to actually have a care free day and relax with my daughter. Have you ever had these days were it dawns on you to take it slower? What do you usually do when you have a "slow down" day?

That is soo sweet. My son is two and a half. After a days work all I want to do is lay down and chill. Its hard for me to find the energy to get up and play with him, but I do because few years from now he may never want to play games with me again.
