Test matches even after playing under lights will not benefit it because it is still the boring concept. It can be a successful one if ICC intervenes and make it as interesting as T20 by implementing certain new rules and reducing the number of days played.

just stick to t20s till you learn to see the beauty of a test match. Tinkering a bit with test matches would be criminal to say the least. You need a certain level of understanding of cricket before you can start enjoying test matches. I am more awed watching kumble set up a wicket than say warner smashing it around the park. People think that a good match is where both sides score tons of runs and hellish strike rates , placid pitch and whatever , go see a test match on 5th day track in sub-continent with kumble and bhajji tormenting batsmen and 5 people around the bat..... thats the thing about test cricket...you cant get away with stupid cricket , it'll catch you. So before demanding a huge change next time , please think about us. I do not want to see slogfeast all the time.

I dont want to see any changes to test matches... When we say cricket it really means test match cricket and it should be played the traditional way. But it is also true that 20 20 effect is making test matches less attractive and eventually icc will have to do take some drastic stpes like cutting the duration to 4 days or playing at night to bring some crowd to the ground.

Night Test matches is an atrocius Idea. I am a cricket purist and I believe the sanctity of the Test matches will be defiled if they are played under the lights . Also if you are playing test cricket under the lights you cannot play with plain clothes...which will be another abomination . I dont think such an idea will pass muster with the respective cricket boards or players

hey dude!! nice question!! i think night test matches are not good....because players wont get rest...and they get exhausted easily..and also the lights does not favour the test match play...i also think there would not be much spectators to watch these type of cricket....:)
