What's wrong you again, PLDT myDSL?

Here it goes again, our connection to the internet is gone. What's wrong with you guys? I heard that last night, their connection is already very poor, as my friend told me today. And now, here in the office, it's totally gone. Good thing I have my connection with my mobile provider. I can still use my cell phone to make some posts. Do you experience the same with your ISP in your area ? Are you planning to change your ISP?

well that is why pldt is colloquially termed "PLDC" as in palaging dc. some of my friends are pldt and have the same problem.

Whew!!! I thought it was just us having same problem with myDSL. I was not able to log in yesterday because of connection problem. I called yesterday and they said that there was nothing wrong with the connection line in our place. However, they will report the matter to the technical support. We changed internet connection from WiFi hoping this would be better. Making me go crazy.

I am using the wireless Smart Bro and so far it has been giving me satisfactory service. Even the Globe Wireless Broadband in my other office is also doing fine. In our Makati Office branch, PLTD myDSL is the service provider and they usually have the same complain as yours.

Hi Neil, I've had trouble getting on to Mylot yesterday morning but it was ok later, I wasen't the only one that had problems, so glad you have that cell phone to make your posts without any problems. Hugs. Tamara

What's your location? I'm having problems with my connection with PLDT as well and I'm from Malabon City, NCR.. They said a migration in my area is on going and they're also upgrading the system for better service.. What's the disappointing part also is it took me 10 times to call their customer service before I got an answer.. They should have plenty of of Call Center Representatives to assists their customers since they're the #1 in terms on their lines..

As you can see in my avatar, I am located in Lapu-Lapu City in Cebu. I thought it's only here in our place that PLDT is doing not so good service. With their customer service, after trying to call them for the longest time hanging up, someone will take your call and in the end of your conversation, they will only say that they will forward the problem with the technical people. They will also inform you that someone from the technical will call you, but it will not happen...

I experienced the same, yesterday night for more than 11 hours, started from 10 pm to 9:25 am yesterday morning straight I lost internet connection. Then last night again from past 9pm to 7:46 am this morning, whew it make me sick! I'm a PLDT subscriber plan 999, unlimited internet with Zyxel model 600 modem, things seem I am losing the benefit of unlimited internet due to long time of interruption of network down.

Dear zearah, I can hear everyone using PLDT. I can hear everybody is screaming. Yesterday, this area will be cut-off, tomorrow will be that, and there, will be our next target. Who's next?, one respondent here said. I can see that no subscriber can maximize the service's unlimited offer. Neil

Yes, that's true! Only there's no other option I know better than this PLDT, I tried once Smart Bro, then Bayantel, oh all other the rests I've used before so poor in function. I can't even chat and use web cam simultaneously. To end it's the PLDT again.

I've had my problem with Sky Broadband yesterday. Our office suffered a very slow internet connection yesterday and last Monday. Then by mid day yesterday it was cutoff so we didn't have any net connection for about a couple of hours. It returned early afternoon already. It was really a bad timing since I was only able to post very few that is why I was not able to reach the minimum payout last month I missed the payout by 0.50 cents.

Oh yes my friend, internet connection is one reason why we can do less and miss the payout. Anyway, we just try our luck for next month's payout. Our connection in the offive never came back until we close office. I hope tomorrow is a good day so we can do more posts and get additional earnings.

Hi neil, yep I too have been having problems with my ISP it is annoying but I still have a contract with them til December so will decide then wether to change-which is very likely...LoLo

We have been experiencing a lot of problems lately with our service but have no plans to switch because we have cable, the best out there. I'm not sure exactly what our problems are but it is probably one of two things. First, our neighbors are having some construction done (we don't know exactly what yet) and have seen the Utilities Department marking the ground for underground wires and cables and also have seen construction being done nearby where cables are being either installed or replaced under the road. The second scenario is that our cable company is upgrading or something. We have Comcast cable TV and internet services and both services have been giving us problems lately. Things have hopefully calmed down for awhile because everything has been working well all day today for the first time in a week or so. I hope your internet problems are solved soon so you can get back to using your computer. I know that I couldn't handle using that tiny screen for too long!

Maybe it's just an isolated case. I am using PLDT myDSL and it's working fine. I guess it's just a matter who's next. PLDT myDSL usually gets a lot of complaints from subscribers and they don't see to have a clear explanation to the problem. Their customer service is as usual, useless. So far, so good. I won't be changing ISPs because we're on a budget and it's a great deal since we only add 200Php on our landline bill.

We also experienced the same problem, frequent connection failure, with my previous work. And the same still arises frequently here. This isp I guess, is the worst of the isp's in our place. I never heard complains from my friends who are using the other networks.

sometimes i happens in my ISp too, im using smart broadband. but everytime it happens we call customer support and they fix it. they have todl us the last time if something like it happiness again we try turning off the smart bro first then after 30 minutes turn it back on again. and it does work, after minutes its working perfectly.
