Deleting your own mylot discussion

As others have said there is no way we can delete our own posts. We can either contact myLot (through the 'contact' link at the bottom of the page and using 'other' in the drop down menu) or we can send a PM to a friend asking them to report it. Once the myLot staff see the reports they will then delete it.

It has happened to me too and I think there is no problem in repeating the discussion. If you are concerned, you must contact the admin for help.

I had done the same mistake long tiem back and i had the same doubt that how do i delete that discussion. Well, i queried mylot admin and the reply that i got was that u cannot delete the discussion by your own. U will have to ask the admin to do it for you. U will have to send them a request to delete the discussion and they will do it for you.

Hi abetole, You should contact with mylot administration for the deletion of discussion. You should mention about the reason for deletion while contacting administration people. Repetition of discussion happens due to the connection problem. Sometimes we are getting ‘a page can’t be displayed’ page and we try to post it again but in rare cases it already posted even if the we got the error in page. It is a common error by mylotters happening without our knowledge and beyond our control. So don’t worry much about the repetition and contact administration people to solve your problem. I don't think you can actually delete anything you post on myLot I'm afraid although I could be wrong. I have never seen options anywhere for deleting posts or discussions that I have started. It might be an idea to contact myLot admin and ask their advice if you can't do it yourself.
