Its the incidence of just few days ago...when it was not raining, and we were having very hot temperatures here, and had to take showers many times in a day...so...what happened,,i finished my cooking and was sweating so much that i felt that i should have good cold water shower, so that i feel a bit comfortable..hurriedly i took my night suit and entered the bathroom, when i just entered there, there was power cut, and it was dark everywhere...still i continued my bathing and had good shower, now when i completed it, i needed a towel to wipe myself, which i forgot to take, before entering the bathroom....i continued taking shower and was thinking that now whom i will call to give me that (Its my habit...i forget it many times, but someone gives me) there was no one...my both children were playing downstairs, and even if i called them loudly...they would not come becoz they fear darkness...then i thought to call my niece, who is grown up enough...for her also i was thinking that i have not lighted up anything, if she tumbles down???...then i thought that she can come in torch of mobile...and the when i opened the door of bathroom...and also shouted calling the name of niece....i found that its so dark outside...and who is going to see me...even if i come out......what a funny situation...no one to see still afraid of being seen...that day i found that how useless it was that i was using my brain for so much time....have u faced any such situation...??? When you felt that using the brain was so useless

I have felt that my brain was useless before. Sometimes when I take a test or something my brain will just forget all the stuff for this test but remember the stuff for the next test. Then when I take the next test my brain forgets the stuff for that test but remembers the stuff for the last test. Weird right

This is a super topic and a super hilarious story! Just shows how dumb we can be at times without even realising it. Good that you laughed about it (and shared) afterwards. I'm sure I have been in similar situations too but can't think of one particular one right now. The only thing that comes to mind is the bathroom. Why clean it and then have a shower when it's all cleaned up? Surely that defeats the object as the bathroom then needs cleaning again and you're hot again so another shower is needed After I realised that I now clean the inside of the shower while showering

Hahaa, I agree with you, I clean the shower when I'm showering. It never stays clean because we take showers daily.

Yes, it happens like this sometimes. I will tell you one real incident happened in the life of Issac Newton. He had a pet cat. So he made a hole in his bedroom door so that it can enter his room at any time it wanted. Then after a few months it delivered two kittens. Newton made another small hole on the door for the kittens to enter. How is this? Can you believe it?

That’s funny! I do silly things all the time. I put my purse in the fridge once but I have an excuse because I had pregnancy brain! There have been many other instances that I cannot blame on being pregnant like the time I was expressing milk so my husband could give my daughter a feed during the night and spent 15 minutes expressing it and proceeded to pour it down the kitchen sink without a thought. To this day I don’t know why I did that!

Wow cool topic Eshaan, really agree with this that many times we do such a dumb things and later on when we think of it, we laught at ourselfs, I had many such instances and I started writing here will take hell of time for me to write and for you to read. But anyways it is part of our day to day routines, The recent one with me was , when I was driving towards home, thinking of something I just missed out to take the turn and went staright away, and after going around 2 kms I realized that I am on the wrong way. It happens. MAy be we will get more intresting stories here from other myloters.

sometimes due to tiredness it happens that we become dumb.....i many times misplace things and then i need them again...i have a very bad nature that i want the thing at the same time..though i can go without it for present...and i know lost things are found automatically...they appear in the scene when our need is over...but i don't have patience and i keep exercising my brain that where did i keep it...though it doesnt work out..and the thing is later found accidently as it disappeared

Yes sometimes we could say it in a situation happened that is not beyong our control. You can go where the towel put it up or you will suffer the darkness in finding it. Then also your wet will fall on the floor. Its alright if the towel is already outside then just imagine the way through it. I did not have this experienced hope it will not heheheh

eshann, we always think that we are wise guys and looking carefully before we leap. Yeah, we never realize that this always would make a simple and easy thing more complicated. I did turn simple thing into complicated matter numerous times Yeah, just similar as your case eshaan. I always go a long way about and then I realize that I have made thing difficult and wasting time as well. Yeah your topic emphasizes that “Why we have to worry so much, no one could see the embarrassing situation in the dark! It’s just as simple as to step out the bathroom in the dark to get the towel!” Thanks for sharing the interesting stories here and enlighten me Happy posting and take care!

i still feel better that i realised it in time and didnt scold my children....for why they play all the time downstairs...but i was really laughing at myself to be worried so much afterwards....about postign here...i was a bit hesitant...coz its bathroom related...some imaginative minds may start imagining...but again the same story would have been repeated...who has seen me here...and who knows me ????...and what if they imagine of an unknown lady....afterall its nto me in their thoughts ...but its our inner conscience that stop us from doing some acts...yes..though i took the towel myself...i ran again into the bathroom..as the power may come back anytime...and i could be caught

You know what, this is one problem of the obsessive-compulsive type of people. They always try to look at the minute details and want things to be in exact position while it is just fine for most people to see inconsistencies or irregularities most of the time. Take my story for example. It took me almost 30 minutes to review and place the proper punctuations and capitalization of a power point presentation I will be sharing in a seminar. I even skipped my meal just to make sure everything is okay. I know that the participants are fishermen who did not finish secondary education and they will not be concerned about periods, commas, ellipses, etc... as they are more interested on the content and to my explanations. But still, it made me anxious to double check the unnecessary things instead of relaxing and eating with the participants. Besides, mingling with the participants and knowing them better could have made me a more emphatic speaker than perfecting my presentation slides.

I feel like that if I wake up in the middle of the night, I still get dressed before I get the baby. For fear of someone seeing me in my undies...so silly but a habit none the less.
