when did you lose your innocense?

innocense - “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them. (Mark 10:13-16 ESV)

I remember when I was a kid I wanted to see God and talk to him but as I grow older I know something has changed. I still want to see him but I'm not ready to see myself through his eyes, how unworthy I am to his sight... I've made alot of mistakes and no matter how I try I can't redeem myself without the aid of his overwhelming love... What are the changes that occurred to you when you lost it? As we grow older our needs, demands and wants also change some for good some for something we're not sure of... What's best thing about being a child, about being innocent?
