I have seen many women crying watching a sad movie. They cry even while watching sad TV serials. Though sad scenes move me greatly , I don't cry. How about you mylotters?

i cry very rarely...as i am strong enough...but yes, sometimesi did and i have marked that i feel more emotional when there is something related to mother and child, i cried in Taare Zammen Pe film, when the boy says no to go to the hostel...i dont know why is it so...it maybe becoz i have always lacked mother's love as my mother passed away when i was just2 yers old....so in childhood also when we used to watch movie together we all sisters used to become sad if it was mother-child scene and the same is continuing till today...now even though i am mother myself....i feel too emotional for my children..even when i sit at computers, i feel most guilty fo rthem...i feel at times that they must be missing me...i would tell u one incident which happened recently...it was mother's day celebration at my children's school and there was performance by different children on the stage, and when one child sang that hindi song "tu kitni achchi hai, tu kitni bholi hai, pyari payri hai oh..Maa" I was crying , and not only just wet eyes, i was really crying...the women around me started looking at my face...but it was out of control...it happens naturally...emotions are not in our control..if we can control them...we may become God

yes, mother sentiment is really great. I think nothing on this Earth can equal mother's love. It is the greatest thing in the world. It is unconditional, sacrificing, matchless, divine, and with no expectations. That is the only love that does not have any expectations, I would say. I mean even if you don't fulfill her expectation she will continue to love you as always.

I have to admit that I cry even if I had watched the movie millions of times, I would still cry as if its the first time im watching it. I think its mainly because one enters deeply in the movie's characters and imagine himself in it, as if its somethings real that is happening to you. Maybe its one of the reason or else I think so. But these emotions are pretty normal and common,(at least for me).

You are too sensitive. there is nothing wrong in it, it is a little too much though. In one way it helps you as you are venting out your emotions while crying.

OF course sad movies always made me cry. I got attached to the story whenever I am watching drama films. I am seeing myself on the character of the film sometimes, so when I got relate to the story I cry too whenever that character is crying.

Most of the time, I can't help it. There are films that can really make you cry. I remember my boyfriend crying when we watched Finding Nemo - there was a scene at the beginning that was a major tearjerker.

Hi. It depends on the story of the movie or TV series. I think it depends on the viewer because what is considered sad for one person another might think it isn't. For me personally if the movie or tv show is sad or moving to the point that I end up tearing up then it was a great story. The directors did their job if they were able to get me to tear up. There will be movies/tv shows that others will tear up or cry about but I just think that part is stupid/didn't make sense, etc. So in short it depends on the person watching the show. Happy myLotting!!

yes to some extent it depends on the perspective of individual. But there are stories that make every one moved with heavy feelings. That is the success of the director. There is nothing wrong in crying. Some people can't control sad emotions. I can't control laughter while watching comedy programs.

I seldom watch drama or sad movies. I am a happy person and I want to smile even if I have problems. When I watch sad movies, usually I laugh at the sad scenes as I don't want to cry and its useless to cry on. I have too many sad experiences in my early life and I think that made me a stronger and a happy person at the moment.
