/^\The pyramid stage at Glastonbury Festival.../^\ 2009

Watched quite a few acts here, besides the music from the likes of Brucie, Status Quo, Blur, Tom Jones (!), Spinal Tap, Dizzee Rascal, The Specials and Madness... there was the huge variety of flags to behold... and in a certain position in the field a surreal line-up can be seen... Standing about half-way up the hill, to the left-hand side, can be seen the Glastonbury Tor, the famous icon of the town, which has a ruined church tower on the top. All well and good, I have seen this pictured on the TV sometimes. Now comes the surprise, over to the right, a line of electricity pylons can be seen, part of the UK's "National Grid". And all this set off against the outstandingly green, green, English countryside, what with the music, flags and audience participation, it all goes to the magic of the festival. Do you have any particular comment on this? Or did you have a somewhat different magic moment - either at the festival or elsewhere while watching or listening? I WANT TO KNOW!
