Who is Emily???

I know this "Emily" girl has something to do with Rafe... but does anyone have any idea who she could be? I'm thinking his x-wife or x-girlfriend that might have been pregnant or died while giving birth or something along the lines of that.. (seeing how he's connected to sammie)...Any ideas?!
