Best Canadian Musicians

Who do you think are the best canadian musicians and bands out there, and why? Is it because of their live show? their studio recordings? a personal experience? a favourite song? or maybe what they sing about/their image? I personally would have to rate K-os, Sam Roberts and Matthew Good as my top Canadian artists. I like them all for pretty much the same reasons, I like the sound of their studio recordings and I like what they sing about. They are all different styles but because of the quality of their music it is all appealing to me.
