can you send a child with cancer to school yet?

I have a cousin who has lymphoma, and she's just turning eight this July. Well anyway, she had been diagnosed last November and currently completing her chemotherapy. However, her mom still forced her to go to school (anyway, schooling in the Philippines starts on June) and she is now really feeling lousy. If you're a mom and your daughter is sick with cancer, will you still allow her to go to school? I mean, would you still enroll her even if she's really not into it?

My grandson, who had a brain cancer, went to school with surgery, radiation and chemo until he could. Afterwards, my daughter started homeschooling when he couldn“t go anymore. I am sure that was part of his good quality of life for his last 9 months. He even pleaded (and wet) to his karate lessons for some time although he did not do it very well.

I do agree with her mom.As we know, most of the cancers can not be cure, the aim is to eases pain, prolong the survival time and improve the quality of life. In fact, many lymphoma patiens will achieve long survival time and disease-free time through regular therapy. So they are supposed to have normal lives like others, it is good for your cousin to start a new life as erely as possible.Do you think so?
