After how many posts does one can consider himself/herself to be a senior member of mylot? After 100 posts we get a star with rating, after 200 posts we can use smileys, after 500 posts we can copy paste. So I think after doing 500 posts one can consider himself/herself as a senior member of mylot as there are no other privileges or milestones available after that. What do you think? What are your ideal number of posts to be considered as an senior member?

I really don't know which classify to the other. I still need to know more about myLot. As of now, I can't really believe that I've done several posts and I'm happy for that. I hope that myLot will be as awesome as always!

I do not think that number of posts should be taken as the only criteria for assessing the seniority.I have joined the site six months ago and still not able to make 1000 posts but i know a few members who are just 2-3 months old and have made 2000+ posts. The quality and quantity of posts should also be taken into consideration for judging members seniority.Mylot is being benefited by so many members who always give qualitative feedback but they have done only 500+ posts. The comments we give to the responses do not add up in our numbers but they are also our posts and expressions. So we can say that there are number of factors which we have to take into consideration for making a person junior or senior.

Yes I agree that not only the number of posts but also other factors like amount of time spent and the quality of posts are also a important consideration.

i don't think that there is such a term as senior member here... everybody here is equal and we are all learning and sharing stuffs together here... i had been here for almost 3 years now and i never consider myself as a senior... i learn new things from other members here everyday... and i think mylot also never write on their guidelines about how many posts until we become a senior... that is not necessary to distinguish between new members and senior members here... take care and have a nice day...

Yes I understand what are you trying to say. I know there is no such thing like junior and senior member here in mylot and everybody is equal but I'm just asking the members about their opinion and what do they feel . It is just for fun. have a superb day

I agree that over 1000 would be a good number. But I also think it has something to do with the amount of time you've been here too. The longer you've been here and actually been active the more you know about Mylot and the more familiar you are with the rules, how things work, etc. etc.

I honestly don't feel that the number of posts you make contribute to whether you are a senior member. All they really show is how active you are in responding to discussions. For me a senior member is someone who has been on here for a year, been active and seen all the comings and goings. For example someone who has been on here a while will know that the occassional fluctuation in earnings is not something that should worry you, whilst someone who has been on here for a couple of weeks and been extremely active probably won't have this knowledge but yet may have a high post number next to their name.

Hahaha, I'd been missing alot, I never knew I can use the smileys now... hahaha... Thanks for the discussion. I'm trying to target the 500 posts today so I could finally copy paste and avoid typographical errors in the future by using word processor. After my 500 posts I'll target 1000 posts so my discussions can land somewhere where it can be viewed...
