Beaten wives because of drunkard husbands..

Almost everyday I watch in the news or read in the newspapers that women and even their children are beaten to death because of the drunkard husban..I'm very familiar with this one because my girlfriend had a horrible experience with her drunk father..in her past her father had beaten up her mother which almost killed her mother..and sometimes her father also beta her and her siblings..ofcourse when my girlfriend told me that I was bursting with anger and put in my mind that her father will not earn even a single respect from me.. Well,it's so sad that this things happen..and I'm thinking if maybe the government can do something with this one and maybe put a limitation in drinking.. It also maes me think if drinking affect the way a person think??the way a person behaves and acts??can drinking too much result to a certain brain damage or so??something should be really done!!
