i love this, i'm watching it now on the fifth season, got 5 more to go, i do have a year off from studying so this is one thing i am doing lol. Just makes me think how different the life was for people in the 1800's than today e.g. mary is married and i think she is only 16/17 but it was the norm then to get married that young

I like to watch little house on the prairie. they used to get married when they were 14 or 15 back then. it is interesting to see how they provide for their families back and they had less then we do not and did a good job or providing the necessities to live.

I read the books with my kids when they were younger. I also enjoyed watching the series. They were always so very good... sometimes I think I wish I had been born in those days... life was so much simpler... but what would I do without my computer???

I loved watching Little House on the Prairie. I still enjoy reading about or watching shows that depict what life was like in the 1800's just like you do. It is so interesting to see how simple they were able to live. They were strong people to endure the difficulties of every day life. And children knew how to enterain themselves instead of needing tv, internet and game systems.
