How many tv channels do you have at home?

This is a really good discussion because I know that television is very important when it comes to peoples everyday lives because it is a good way to pass the time when you are extremely bored,or when you have nothing else to do like on those extremely rainy or extremely cold days where you do not want to leave the house for any reason whatsoever,I am sure that different people have different amounts of television channels at their house depending on whether they have satellite or cable and whether or not they have a basic package or have a a more expensive package,and I am sure that some people prefer to have fewer channels because they do not watch television that much,and then I am sure there are some people who prefer to have a lot of channels,and could not live without them,at my parents house we have Dish Network and while we have over five hundred channels,it is a little expensive and we are trying to switch to Time Warner Cable which will be cheaper because it would include cable,internet,and phone service,even though we would have less channels which is okay,because me and my fiance only watch certain channels anyway,have a great day,good luck with your life,and all of your mylotting goals,and Happy Posting.

I have a cable connection. I have got more than 78 channels but I don't watch all. I watch some news channels, Discovery fore sure, History channel, yes, some TV serial channel like Colors, this has become my favorite channel these days. You are right sometimes, I too, think it is waste of time watching cable, but sometimes it helps us a lot brings so much important news to us. So I am not quitting my cable connection.

at home we have basic sky, the only channels we dont get are music, sports and films we didn't watch them enough before to get there monies worth, but i prefer that because as it is i record too much stuff so if we had filmed i would be recording all day

I do not have cable tv. in indonesia some TV stations, among others: Indosiar, Trans TV, TV one, Trans 7, SCTV, TVRI and some local TV station. so there is approximately 6 channels that I watch often.
