Have you been a part of any play, dance, fashion show or any stage shows?

Ever been on the stage for any event in your school, college or even your society. I have acted only once in a fashion show during my school days and it was real fun. I had also been on stage for an elocution competition where I had won a prize too. What about you? Please share your good and bad experiences here.

I was in a play in high school. The play was called The Importance of Being Earnest. I had a very small of part as the maid. I really did it only to get credit for my class. I do not enjoy being on stage in front of people for any reason, so it was a real stretch for me to do even that small part. Glad you had fun and congratultions on the prize you won

Even I am very nervous going on stage and even am now, but during the plays we were all together enacting in a group and it didn't matter we were on the stage or in the classroom practicing. Had more fun during the rehearsals than the actual event.

It is good you were able to just forget about being on stage and focus on the play. I guess all those rehersals helped with that.

I have been joined about 5 school plays when I was in Grade School and High School. I enjoyed every play. I've made a lot of friends and a lot of opportunities were opened for me. I learned so much from this experience.

Hey, that's great. I hope you followed up those opportunities and made good use of them. I enjoyed the practice sessions more that the main play. It was fun seeing somebody or the other miss their dialogue or act and it would be so funny. At the main event, though, everybody prayed for things to go smoothly. Thinking back it brings a smile to my face.....

I am always part of a play when I was in grade school and I earned lots of awards too in declamation/monologue and poem recital contests. And when I was in college, I was part of the choir in our school's staging of a musical play. I am not sure if I really like being in a play at all. They say I can act but I'd rather write plays and direct them than acting a part. I joined the musical play in college because I want to learn more about technicalities of running a play which I used in our church programs. I can say that those stints in school have helped took away my shyness. They also taught me how to express myself more and understand people more at the same time. And, they are enjoyable because I gained lots of friends.

You were quite a stage person and congratulations on that. I always wanted to be a part of many but had a kind of stage fright and also I couldn't act that well. So, I think it is not strength, but the time I was on-stage I enjoyed it very much.

Wow! nice to know that you're a drummer. I bet you would love rock music. I always wanted to play some instrument or the other but never showed initiative. I like to listen to music and enjoy it during my travel.
