Do you preview or just submit?

So, I am new to MyLot. I just joined last night! I find the text box a little confusing due to the fact that it doesn't have automatic word wrap. I have found that I have made many spelling errors do to this. I am very grateful for the "preview discussion" button!:) Do you preview your comments/posts first or do you just hit the submit key? {Be honest - LOL}

I just submit my discussion and response,because my computer has automatic correction so i already corrected before i post it, it is your decision if you want to preview or submit it.

I have heard a few people mention that their computer has either automatic correction or that it underlines the words that are misspelled. I do not have those functions on MyLot. I agree that it is your decision to preview first or not, and I feel as though everyone should preview their posts first. Spell checker won't pick up grammar mistakes - like using for instead of four, etc. I'm sure that 80% of the posts out there are definetly not previewed, and you can tell. :)

I'm always previewing my post : 1st- because I'm not a native speaker 2nd- everybody can make a spelling mistake It is always a good idea to proofread your post before submitting it.

Yes, I agree that you should always proofread your posts before submitting. I have made a few spelling errors because no one is perfect, but some people just ramble and ramble and it makes it so difficult to understand what exactly they are saying! By the way, your english is perfect for not being a native speaker :)

i think normally i will post without pushing the preview button.especially when i am writing on other discussions it can happen soemtimes i will preview when i will post my own discussion to check some errors or if the concept will eb clear for the other users here want share their thoughts about discussion as well!!In other cases i can preview if i insert codes on the post so i will check if it was ttached correctly or soemthing wrong bu aprt these cases i like more to submit directly!!

I usually just hit submit without previewing, as when I am typing it it will underlines any words that are misspelled. I did when I first started, but it seems like it is such a hassle to check it, so I just proofread my posts, as I am typing them. Well, good luck to you and happy mylotting.
