What kind of cover do you have on your sofa?

My sofas are incredibly old and are covered with green material. I haven't replaced them because my cats have a nasty habit of sharpening their claws on them, and I would hate to spend a lot of money on new ones only to get scratched to pieces. I have got various large pieces of cotton material which I can cover the main part of the sofas with, and they are handy as they can be easily washed. What have you got on your sofa - is it floral, patterned, leather or ...?

We have one sofa cover that's brown and I believe suede. Of course this isn't actually ours as we live with his parents. Once we get our own place after we can start saving again, we will probably not have sofa covers as we plan to get new sofa's. Lol, plan to, but there's no telling what family member might want to give us a sofa, we already requested a love seat that we like, lol.

lol, well I think that we will as the loveseat wasn't something that they bought but was given to them. It's nice though and very comfy, would go okay with what we want the theme of our house to look like. I think that's the hardest part, getting the right furniture for the theme of the house, or to match the walls. Lol!

my sofa is covered in leather. we wiped it off with disinfected wipes once a month. i hate having a leather coach cause i can't jump on it eat on it or sleep on it. cause its white n my mom really protective of it. shes says its for decoration

Oh, that's sad. I think sofas should be somewhere that you can relax and be comfortable on.

That sounds like a good idea, very practical especially if you have children or pets. I expect now that people have to cut back on their spending covers like those will gain popularity - it can save having to go out and buy a new sofa.
