update upside down tomato

Well it happened I have a ripe tomato ready to eat from the upside down tomato.
It hasn't been a problem and I'd say the other tomatoes are at least a week away from getting ripe. I just have to make sure it stays moist and since it's encased in plastic it heats up faster then the ones in big pots. If you can get one of these on sale for next year I'd say go for it.

How wonderful! Pat, you have the best ideas! I tried to order one from a phone order number I had, and they were out of them. I'll try again next week.

I have told many of my clients about this product. They want fresh tomatoes but don't have space to grow them. However they do have a spot to hang plants outside and many of them have used these. Nifty little invention.
