Would you buy a swimsuit from a thrift store?

I have a friend who will willingly buy swimsuits from thrift stores. I could never buy a used swimsuit. I don't think I could even buy it from a thrift store even if I thought it was new because I wouldn't be convinced it was new and never used. To me, it's just disgusting. I could never buy underwear from a thrift store, either for the same reasons. Could you? What are your thoughts on this?
