I thought when people referred to eating dog they were joking!
I am an American, so I am ignorant to the culture, but here I am pretty sure you would do some jail time for killing/eating a dog.
But in all seriousness, what does dog taste like? (Is it like beef?)

I am in Canada where if that were to happen it would be considered savage even considered a crime maybe. I would not eat any animal because I am vegetarian however my sons do eat meat. I don't think that they would eat dog though because it is considered a pet and a part of the family. But that is our culture here and how we are raised. I am from a city where there is little fresh fish and noone really ate it. Then I moved to a fishing village where almost everyone ate fish. We thought it was not something we wanted to eat because we were not exposed to it since we were little. However if we were we would have thought it normal. So I guess it is normal to eat dog in other parts of the world.
As for killing the dog and feeling weak I heard that it gets easier and easier the more you do it. But I would say if you don't HAVE to then don't. It would make me sick to watch any animal die.
