I've already decided to use Godaddy for domain registry, but I can't decide on a web-hosting package/service. I've had these recommended to me so far: Bluehost (http://www.bluehost.com) - the most recommended I've heard of Max-Hosting (http://max-hosting.duoservers.com) Bravenet (http://www.bravenet.com) Webs (http://www.webs.com/premium.jsp) Any advice/suggestions?

sorry, i can't offer any advice on about hosting. As for me, i register domain with Godaddy, then i use the free hosting from blogspot.com, free of charge yet easy to use, and still maintain my domain.

hiucheekeong, Let me see if I got this right. You're saying you register your domain with godaddy. Then you get to host your site for free at blogspot, does that free hosting include a domain name like "yoursite.blogspot.com" or "yoursite.com"? That sounds interesting if its the latter. Please let me know. Thanks.

Hey, Yea I have also heard that Bluehost is quite a good host. I have heard countless reviews of it, so I would recommend that you go with Bluehost. Or you could also try Hostgator because that is also quite good too. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

Out of the 4 you mention I have only heard postive things about bluehost but have never used them. I have always used 123-reg, hostgator and godaddy for hosting and never had any major issues so they may be worth considering if you haven't already looked at them.
