We know that water is the most important element for our life. But although we are now living in modern world, there are still alot of our brothers on Africa and many parts of the world have no enough and clean water for their life. I've heard about CharityWater and they built many water treatment for Africa. It's a good news for them. So, how about on your area? Do you have clean water for your daily life? Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

I live in the united states and my drinking water is filled with chlorine about 5 years ago we had to much poop particles in our water system so they have been adding a ton of chlorine to the water since instead of fixing the issue everyone thinks it is gross tasting and we used to have such good water from the cascade mountains what a shame in america water is so poor you have to go thirsty rather than drink it....

In our state there are very strict rules that are there to make sure our drinking water is safe and clean. I'm surprised to hear that the drinking water in your state isn't tested and has to meet EPA standards for purity before it comes to your tap. Sometimes it is necessary to increase the amount of clorine to the water to make it safe to drink. It might not taste so bad if you run some water before filling your drinking glass. It seems that water that stands in the piping in a home seems to taste bad and in some cases the water may have an iron taste.

I'm not an American, but i know that America is a great country. I think all American have good water than other country. Now i know that clean water has become an international issue. No matter where we live in, water always become a serious problem. But most governments didn't respecting this problem. I hope our governments will start fixing our water problem. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

We do have clean and safe water in our area. Our water district uses a facility to treat water. But we still use a water purifier for safe drinking. There are bottled mineral water and distilled water in our area but we can save more by using a water purifier.

I think it's reasonable to not direct drinking water from tap. Although your district using good water treatment and claimed that its water can be directly drink without first must boiling the water, but the problem i think is on the pipeline. We don't know whether the water pipeline inside is clean or not. Usually after along time, inside the pipeline especially water pipeline could be mossing. And it will causing some stink smell with the water. Using water purifier perhaps is a good solution for this matter. So that mean, your water is not 100% clean and safe. But it's much better than other place. Good luck for you and have a nice day. Happy mylotting.

Actually, we have recently replaced our steel pipes with plastic ones. Our water district too replaced old pipelines with new ones. So we really don't have a problem with safe and clean water.

im not really sure if we do have clean water.. i dont drink from the faucet anymore.. i mean, when i was younger, there wasnt any water stations around so i guess the water's pretty clean before.. but nowadays, i'd prefer buying bottled water.. its always good to keep ourselves safe from any disease..

It's a good thing if we can buy bottled water for drinking. But how about for shower? Taking bath with dirty water is bad for our health too. Especially it could harm our skins with irritation and alergic pains. Do you have clean water for shower? Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

As the former Commissioner of the water department in our city, I can attest that we have very clean and potable water. Our water comes from an aquafier that is located 15 miles from our city limits. We have three high efficient deep wells that tap into the underground river. The water is processed at the plant located near the wells and pumped to a large ground storage tank and two airborne water towers. The water is constantly tested for purity at the plant and meets all EPA requirments.

Yes, the pipeline is a very important link to the city water supply. When in office we replaced and old 10" line with a new "ductal steel" 16" line. Due to the growth of our city and the additional pressure on the 10" line, there were times when the old line would give way and blow out a section a couple of feet long, this would cause an emergency and a quick fix. The city would have to put out a "boil order" for a few days until the water was clean. And at that time addition clorine would be necessary to make the water potable for public consumption. All water tests have to pass the IEPA standards before the boil order can be removed. Some people complain about the EPA (Enviromental Protection Agency) rules and regulations, however they are in place to protect the citizens' health.

It's nice to know that is an expert responding here. People who lived on your city shouldn't have to worry about the water purity. But i have a question regarding the pipeline. In many countries, they have a good water treatment system for serving their water needs. But they don't really take a good care to the pipeline. Usually when the water arrived at people's home, it losts the purity along the way. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

In my opinion, the water for most city is from some natural or artificial reservior,it must be strictly inspected and treated, thus we can use it. In my daily life, I drink purefied water or boiled water. Pleased to read the news you heard. Indeed lacking water in some places, we should use water suitably.

It is difficult to get clean water in my area. We were getting government water, but it is stopped one week ago. Now, we are using water from our private borewell. It is not that good and it activates hair fall. I am very much worried about this. When we prepare white rice using this water, the color of the cooked rice is chaning from white to green due to the chemicals included in this water.

there is clean water everywhere but still i don't drink water directly from the tap because tap water will contain some contaminants no matter how clean they may be, the inner side of the taps will definitely be rusty and then microorganisms can easily get inside such taps so i make sure i boil the tap water before drinking them

i am afraid we don't have water at all. Actually we have plenty of water sources in our country, and our country is taken as second greatest in water resources after Brazil. but still we don't have enough water to drink. Mostly in Kathmandu city as its getting overly crowded everyday and supply of drinking water is less and less available. During summer time when it doesn't rain only thing that come out of our tap is rush of air.which spins the motor and raises the water bill. LOL. as for clean drinking water, We have to boil water and then filter to drink.some also uses chemicals to purify. But i had installed water purifier, so i do not need to boil water and filter. Its really hard to get water here in our country, as a great resource of water, then i can only wonder how hard it is for our brothers in Africa.. good day and happy mylotting..!!

I have clean water here, but I buy them. I mean they are not the ones from the faucet. I still consider the one coming from the faucet as clean for bath, and for other purposes, but not so anymore for drinking.

We have a clean water in our area, provided by Nawasa, since almost 1 year, before we try to buy water to our neighbor and sometimes we try to buy water by the help of the hose, and to much costly, but now we are now suffering for that too much cost of water, by the help of Nawasa the expenses was not too much 100 pesos in a month compare on the later expenses of water that almost coins every twice a week if we compute it is almost the same and much more.
