What makes facebook the best networking site?

Its no news that Facebook has beaten its Myspace in the worldwide users.Though within the US Myspace has the largest number of Users but facebook is fast covering that too.
What do you think is the reason behind the huge success and addiction called FACEBOOK???

FACEBOOK is one of the website I like because I have the opportunity to express my self to decorate my own house and meet friends as like in reality life.

Hello Schummi,
Orkut was the first social networking site that I joined and then I heard about facebook. Initially I didn't like the look of it and I thought it was too complicated with so many features and all, which took time to load into your browser.
Facebook was the first social networking site that provided so much of privacy to the users and I think that is the best USP of it. Orkut did follow suit by adding a lot of privacy options and applications but it was too late. Many of the users, including myself, had switched over to facebook by then.
