hi mylot users, there had always been a thinking that one's height doesn't improve as they step into gym in their later half of their teen age. Is it a truth or myth?? The height increases in the last two years of teenage substantially. So does gym exercise have an impact on one's height??

Hi, I have been reading some books on workouts and found some truth this saying that heigth is affected by heavy weight lifting, dips etc. Do not practice them if your height has not reached its limit. It happens because muscles tend to contract or stay stiffened due to pressure and constrained growth is obtained. But, experts say that appropriate and dedicated (about 25% of workout time) stretching eradicates its effects and refer stretching to all age groups who workout.
