I don't know what happen!

My sinuses have been bothering me since winter. I knew I had a sinus infection and saw the doctor about it tuesday. I got meds,Amoxicillian. Well Wednseday night I started to get real acky and had an upset stomach! The next day my head felt cloudy,my sinuses where worse then normal,I was really tried,really acky,and was not myself! So yesterday I stayed home from work! Today I did,too! I'm better but not much! I wonder if the pills ade me sick or the infection was on the verge of making me feel sick when I got the pills? What ever happen this has never happen before! I have taken those meds before! It is strange!

Since you have taken those particular antibiotics before, and didn't have any reactions, you are probably right that it was just hte infection breaking loose and causing you to feel worse before you feel better!
As long as you don't spike a fever or have a breakout of hives you may be okay. But if you start breaking out or feeling like you can't breathe or swallow, you may want to go straight to the emergency room. Otherwise, I would just call the dr. to see what he says about it all.

I am feeling better finally! I felt so lousey the last two days, I called in sick to work! I rarely call in sick! I probaly had more of an infection then I thought! I'm very happy to be feeling better and getting back to normal!

Does Amoxicillin help with sinuses and colds? I mean I am not a medical expert but I heard antibiotics aren't helpful with viruses. I think the best way for that is drink honey with lemon.

well, the medicine is right..!! may be u need stronger dose..
1. try taking 500mg, 3 times a day for 5 days
2. also take steam..!!
3. avoid cold water, ice cream and other cold stuff totally..
4. increase in take of vitamin c and fruits..!! add amla, orange or mausambi etc..

sounds like you may have had more than a sinus infection and not a reacation to the medication.
