It really depends on the type of tea. Most teas do not contain as much caffeine as coffee, but there may be a few teas which contain more. A lot of natural teas do not contain any caffeine... so you just have to look up what kind of tea you are drinking!

It all depends on the kind of tea you drink. I would look up the caffeine contents for your favorite teas and compare them with teh caffeine content of coffee. That's really the only way you can know for sure.

Brewed tea has less caffeine than brewed coffee

Personally, I think coffee contains more caffeine than tea because whenever I drink coffee, I can't sleep at all, but when taking tea (especially earl grey or black tea), I can still sleep. Mind you, chocolates contain caffeine as well! But I personally believe that it doesn't matter if you drink caffeinated teas as long as you don't feel that your sleeping pattern has been altered or something. Chinese tea, depending on which type has caffeine. White tea has the least and black tea has more.
