Suggest to me what branch of lap top is the best?

Hi, I am having an Acer for the last one year, and till today it has not given me much of a problem. The only problem in Acer is, it does not look very stylish and has got a plain Jane look.

Toshiba or Compaq would be the best for me. Acer is good too, but I think in terms of hardware stability, the two former is good. I think toshiba is also Mac compatible, so you can have both macintosh and windows in it. Anyway, it is quite expensive compared to Acer.

I'm 61 yrs. old and have had 4 laptops, 5 desktops, and 3 at work laptops. The best in my opinion is HP I've never had any problems with them, and price wise they are in the ball park with the rest! I've had this HP Pavillion dv6000 for 8 months now and it's fast very durable and problem free! tdemex

Dell would be good laptop brand to choose..
