Fucoxanthin occurs naturally in brown seaweed, a type of kelp, and is the substance that gives that ocean plant its characteristic brown color. It is commonly used in Asian dishes, such as miso soup, and is suspected of being a primary factor in the health and longevity characteristic of some Asian communities. Research suggests fucoxanthin helps people burn fat quickly and lose weight with increased effectiveness. In studies, rats lost 5% to 10% of their body weight, through the shrinking of their abdominal fat cells. Fucoxanthin is thermogenic- meaning it increases metabolism, but it is not a stimulant. This is a rare find, and an exciting one in the field of obesity and weight management and loss. Fucoxanthin is also being researched as a possible cancer cure, as some studies indicate that it has properties which result in cancer cells ceasing to spread Fucoxanthin might appear to just be a kelp or brown seaweed pigment on the surface, but deeper research has revealed that it does much more than give a coloring to the underwater plant. It is a powerful stimulant for folks who need help burning fat and losing weight. This, coupled with the fact that it can make the body healthier by decreasing bad cholesterol levels, has made fucoxanthin a very intriguing introductory product for nutritionists and health professionals.

This is great. I will actually have to check on this and read up on it. It sounds like a wonderful product so why is it not out there or we hear about it more often?
