Scam or Not?

Someone tells you that you can make extra money. So you ask for the link. When you go to fill in the form, it also asks for soc sec no, and bank information. At the same time, it says, if you do not want to give your infomation now, to insert these numbers instead...is this a scam or not? I left the site, thinking perhaps it was a scam to get personal informatin.

Hi ShirleyBillingsley,
The best and wise thing to do is never give anyone your social security no and bank information. Otherwise, you will not only make money but losing money instead. I also try to earn money from internet but they never want my bank information.
I join a few affiliate programs and the only information they want from me is where they can send my earning (my paypal email in this case).
