Since humans dwell the earth, nature has undergone a process of constant change. Climate change! Sudden rain! Sudden Floods! Earthquakes! Tsunamis! Drought! Don't you see that God has given us a task, a task to protect his creation. In what way you could help and care for our environment?

i think one best way is observed waste management all the time. by doing this we can lessen the green house effect. we live naturally so we can lessen the waste we produce. but i think what you are talking are natural phenomenon. whether we will control or not this things will happen due to the curse of nature. aside of course from floods that we can be able to control it.
