how many cars do you own

That's really weird that your neighbor would give you a lecture like that, especially if they own more cars than they're lecturing you for owning! Sounds like you've got some pretty interesting neighbors. Me, I own two cars. Well, technically I own one and hubby owns one. We really need two cars because we work opposite shifts (he's day and I'm night) not to mention that during the day I also attend college (an hour's drive away) and things like that, so it's just not possible for us to get by with only one car. It's not too bad, though. He got his from his father as a graduation present, but we had to buy mine, which hurt, but at least it's 100% ours.

Well, at the moment we just own 1 car but i can vividly remember the time when we owned 3 cars. It's great having 3 cars because there is no way you'll run out of transportation during a friday night to go out with friends and stuff. Those were the days... unfortunately good things have to come to an end right?

Ok what was her reason that you shouldn't have two cars? I don't understand why a speech about this. Especially if she has 3 cars. That is very weird. Who does she think she is?
