Hi, shnsun. I also had leg cramps about two years ago. My condition was also bad. Whenever there was slight pressure, like running upstairs, I had cramps nearly daily. But, now I have eradicated the problem with some easy good routine. - First of all let your muscles come to rest, i.e. for next two-three days take appropriate rest and don`t put much pressure. - Then start including light workouts to your routine, followed by necessary stretching (stretching is really important, about 25% of workout time). - If your most time spends sitting, include stretching 3-4 times a day. - I used pranayam and Yoga, especially Ugrasana and Padmasana produced wonderful results in this problem (they keep you fexible).

yes i also have had leg cramps...though it was not very severe...its usually happens in morning time...in bed time. cramps are due to contraction of muscles. i think having lemons will help...there's something in it that helps to relax your muscles...you can also massage with mustard oil. it is also caused due to dehydration so drinking enough water can also help. you can do some exercise, like rotating your feet...and moving your feet forward and backward. exhale while moving your feet forward and inhale while moving your feet toward you. do simple exercise before going to bed.
