I remember when I was at my younger years, my mother just used any soap (except bath soap)for our dishes because liquid dish detergent that time was not yet discovered..Nowadays, food grade, dish liquid soap detergent discovered. Are you always using this? Just curious...Thanks...

When i was in philippines, i am using both. Depends on my budget, if i have tight budget i am using any soap coz washing up liquid is little bit expensive. Now im living in Uk, i can't find any soap here, stores were selling washing up liquid so no choice. Cheers.

I see. I presume that you can save by that thing while you were still here rather than right now that you're already there in your new place...Thanks...

I remember that... when i was in grade school... we used excess laundry soap to wash the dishes... it was like that was the only option... but with the onset of dish washing detergent... there was no looking back... so i can't remember the time when we last used laundry soap to clean the dishes...
