What Can One Do To Keep Stepdaughter Away From Stepfather?

A friend came to me a was very upset because her Granddaughter wanted to go live with Stepfather.......This man is 50 years old or older....She is just 19...He has told her he would pay for her schooling and would buy her a new car and she could live in his house for nothing..... I found out from my friend that he is divorceing her Mother but didn't bother to tell the Mother he was divorcing her...He Ex-husband was the one to break the news to her, she was getting a divorce..... I told her that it seems funny that he didn't have the guts to tell her mother he was divorceing her........But is willing to buy all of these things for her daughter and not charge her for anything......It sound like to me he is trying to use the girl to get back at the mother......And some day he is going to be telling the girl that she has to sleep with him to pay for all the thing that he has given her.... I hope I am wrong but I have a gut feeling my friends granddaughter is in for some bad times if she moves in the house with him........It really sounds funny that a 50 year old would do that.. What do you think about this problem......

the nswer is, hire someone to kill that idiot. just kidding. I don't know how the relationships are between stepfather and stepdaughter, so it's hard to say. did he raise her since she was little girl? if yes he might really want to help her. I hope everything will be OK. ether way if he tries to do anything stupid like that the girl can always say no and possibly file charges against him, as long as she knows she has options that is.

That wouldn't help just get her Grandmother in trouble.......He didn't tell either wife he was divorcing them that what make you wonder what he's trying to pull..And all the promisses he's making. No he didn't she was about 10 years old when she went to live with him and her mom..When she had problems with mom he would take her side.....That's why I think the girl is in for big trouble if she goes lives with him.......He not trying to get control of his own sons......Infact he wants nothing to do with them...So doesn't look right to me......
