It does bothers me if they are standing too close behind me. I get uncomfortable. For example while queuing at the ATM machine, supermarket or any place that needs you to queue.
Once while buying lotto, this guy was standing so close behind me that I could feel his breath on my neck. I moved forward one step and he followed until I was so close to the person in front of me. Next, I just turned around so that I shoulders were pointing to him and the person in my front.
Next time someone do that, you should just fart and don't say a word. :-D or just ask that person if he/she is in a hurry that you can let them go first.
Maybe that way they will realize that they are too close and finally have the sense of space.

It doesn't bother me unless the person has proven to be untrustworthy in the past. I don't like someone looking over my shoulder when I'm trying to work, however. I think that's plain rude.

Maybe they are just admiring your curves, lol. I guess I don't mind it, as long as they're not kicking my seat like they do in the theatre. Have a great one!

well it bothers me because i'm on the computer 24/7 n my mom boy friend is ALWAYS standing behind me reading my messages like its his job n that i want him to. i mean its such a invasion of privacy sometimes i shut it off n just look at him with the face "r u really serious right now" n people standing behind me in general i don't mind much unless they give off a creepy vibe. i don't really care if i'm in the lunch line n someone stading behind me.
