Have you ever been late on a credit card payment before?

I'm about 4 hours late on my credit card payment. Shoot! I for some reason thought it was due tomorrow, as it's usually due on the 6th of each month..But apparently my brain was in a fog from too much boozing this weekend. So now it's about 4 hours late (I do online payments).
I'm scared to even THINK about how much they're going to charge me as a late fee, and if they're going to up my already sky-high APR.
Have you ever had a late payment?
What were the consequences?

( Hands Maezee a jar of Vasaline ) " Here you'll need this. " You just gave them an excuse to screw your royally. Those companies are evil...Evil I tell you! Run by Satan himself.
I'm surprised they don't make you sign the contract in blood.

simple, just call them, or write to them, ask to waive off the late charge. normally they will waive it, i have 100% success rate on this. if you don't ask, sure 100% you will be charged, so no harm to ask for it, nothing to lose. you konw, the late charge is just a small amount compare to what the card company earn from your spend, they get around 3-5% from the seller, plus they earn from the balance interest, so the late charge just a small amount. they won't giv out a bigger profit just because the small late charge.
