Do you shred important papers when you're done with them?

We have a shredding machine but I never usually use it. I mainly just rip up my credit card statements, bank statements, and paycheck stubs. What about you? Does it make you nervous to think that someone could go through your trash & find out such valuable information? Or do you think it's unlikely to happen? Thanks in advance, guys!~

Hello, I am just like you. I also do not like to keep so many papers with me, especially credit card statements, frequent flier letters and other so many letters and statements. Now-a-days, I prefer having all my statements sent by my bank to my email inbox. Earlier I used to keep them neatly in a file, but then I felt all these papers have no use to me and I just shred them and dispose....cheers....
