Unbroken world record of Hot Dog eating

The US citizen Joe Chestnut had maintain his world record of Hot Dog eating.He also established a new record.Last Saturday in Cony island of New york Mr.Chestnut by eating 68 Hot Dogs in 10 minutes broke his previous record of eating 66 Hot Dogs.The main competitor of Chestnut Takeru Cobayashi of Japan did not complete the eating of his 65th Hot Dog.Chestnut and Takeru are competing each other for a decade.The first competition of this nature began in 1916.This has become a custom to arrange this competition in America's Independence Day.This time it was Channel E S P N's live programme.The winner Chestnut got $20,000 as prize money.In 1916 the winner got only $36.

I am wondering how much will cost his doctor visit. This is very unhealthy competition, can end up with liver damage....20K may be not enough for medical treatment...

maybe it would be enough in India, in USA may not be enough for any surgery if needed...
one doctor check up can cost as much as $800........

How is his heart? He must practice through the year so he eats a lot of fake food!! That can't be healthy!! I wonder if he does a detox after he finishes the competition!
