This spring her youngest daughter (14yrs old, turned 15 while missing) ran away for a few months. When the police found her she thought it was just a joke as she also missed a court date for shoplifting *sigh* Needless to say my friend has had alot on her plate since her hubby died a few yrs ago of lukemia. So when her daughter was found finally they put her in Juvi and found out she was also 10 weeks pregnant! My friend was livid not only did she take off for 3 months but comes back pregnant, as her eldest had a baby last year @ 15!
They found out last month that baby had Turners Syndrome and had swelling from a tumor. No one was sure if this baby was going to make it nor the babies quality of life.
Well on the 4th of July her 15yo went into labor and delivered a baby girl weighing in at abt 1lb & was 9in long and was stillborn.
I don't know really what to say to my friend since now that she lost her grandaughter. The only thing I can say is that baby M wasn't ment to be & was too sick to continue. Though what I'm also thinking is that her youngest should see this as an opportunity to get her act togeather that her actions are serious with serious consequences.

I'm sorry that she lost her baby, but on the other hand what is this woman doing to mess up with her girls that they are both running around and getting pregnant? I guess there are some thing to say that she did lose her husband, but... well, I'd have to kill them if they were my kids....

Oh wow. What a heavy burden. I know I can't do anything, but I assure you the entire family will be in my prayers. It seems when people lose a loved one, they go one of two ways: they stand together, or fall apart. Your friend must be at her wit's end. I hope both her son and daughter start looking hard at what they are doing with their lives.

She's got 2 girls. The oldest is turning 17 & is a mom to a 1yr old and the one who lost the baby is 15. Sadly my friend was a "teen mom" @ 18 so in a way it's hard to comprehend as my kids are alot younger.
