What size is it? What do you use it for? What is the brand? I'm shopping for one, and I need to know what kind I should get.

Yes, I use a flash drive. It is a sandisk with 4GB capacity. I bought it in best buy shop for $38 about 2 years back and it's working well. Now the prices of these drives have slashed and I guess you can get the same for less than $20. I have also heard that there are flash drives with more than 16 GB memory available in the market these days...cheers...

Hey I have a 2Gb, 4 Gb, and a 8Gb flash drive and all are from Sandisk. Since I do not know for what purpose you are going to use this flash drive, I am unable to help you. For normal usage in the house either a 2 or 4Gb should be sufficient.

Even though I'm pretty late in answering at this point, I think the first replier offered some good advice. As far as the the capacity of the flash drive goes, it really depends on what you're planning on doing with like. Much like the first poster said, mine is just a 256 MB that I've had for several years now and is still not filled completely up. Mainly all I use mine for is to store text documents. But if, say, you're planning on saving/transporting videos or pictures, then I would suggest getting bigger. Very possibly one that's in the gigabyte range. As far as what type, I've only used one brand since I started using flash drives and that's Lexar. Always worked fine for me.

Any flash drive will really do. Look at the GB because that tells you how much storage you get. I;ve gotten great ones from Samsa.

I have some 2GB SD cards and a few USB flash drives ranging in sizes from 512MB to 2GB. I use them mainly to take data with me when I need it somewhere. It can be very useful and much better than floppy disks. I reccomend a Kingston Data traveler 2GB USB flash drive if you want to use it for external data storage that you can easily take with you on the go.

Any would do as long as you get enough space for youself. Personally, I have a Sony flash drive and it is 2 GB. I got it from Circuit City a year ago. Of course you can't get one there now because they are closed, but you can get a pretty one with lots of space cheap. Just shop around at your local stores.

Mine is a typical 1GB flash drive, myFlash brand or something - guess you never heard of it lol. Use it to easily store files and transfer from computers in the library in my college to my laptop, it's been like 3-4 years and it still works great. But my friends mostly use Kingston, 4GB space, and they work great as well - fast data transfer and last long, easy to store. I like its design! and I trust Kingston's brand, so I recommend it, it works great for my friends.
