I don't have one myself, but I have heard both good and bad things about touch screen cell phones. Do you like them? Do you think they work well? Would you recommend them, or prefer regular buttons? Does it depend on what you use your phone for?

Yes i think it depends which features you would use more than others on your phone as well!!So i think touchscreen technology is ok on a mobile phone but you think that it cna be also uncomfortable if you will write very much messages, email, edit text documents on your phone and so on..so for these may be it is better having also a physical keyboard in this way you can be active and functional when you need to write on your phone too!!

Oh, I much prefer my cellphone with buttons. First of all, I look from its convenience. Typing with touch phone taking too much time, either with stylus or with my finger. Also, it is very hard if you driving and have to answer your phone (not that I suggest you send SMS while driving:)). Also, I am quite clumsy, so I'm just afraid in case something happened to the phone screen.

I bought one touch screen phone of Motorola just because I wanted to know how it really works . The demerit of it is that you have to remove the pen or stylus first from the space that is provided for it and then one can use the phone . It sometimes get frustrating if you are in a hurry. Yes you can also use your fingers but I do not like to use them. The merit of touch screen phones is that you can quickly type SMS messages in it as compared to regular phones where one has to keep pressing the buttons which takes time. I think touch screen phones are good for typing messages, chatting etc but I generally use my regular phone because I'm used to it.

Hi, anna.
I, very much like you, prefer to use regular buttons.
Well, I don`t own a touch screen phone. I have experience of using some of them. It is hard to adjust. But, All bad things about the touch screen phones are meant for the low range ones. If you purchase a good quality branded touch screen phone, you won`t have problems. It is a growing technology and is worth using.
Happy mylotting!!
