"CeCe's Pizza", just another fast food chain? Pizza Buffet?

We just had our first CeCe's pizza move in and while I wasn't impressed with the idea of a pizza buffett I did read a local review of it and they made it sound like it was the new best thing! Talked about how good the food was so you can imagine my disappointment when we get there and its nothing more than a cafeteria setting with a walk through line where you get your slices of pizza. I expected gourmet pizza galore instead there was pepperoni, two kinds of pineapple pizza (one sauce, one without), a buffulo chicken pizza, and a vegetable pizza with a few peices of veggies. The slices were personal pizza size but the part that makes them so impressive is that 2 adults and 2 children cost just 12$. I personally prefer Subway or Peace-A-Pizza (huge gourmet pizza slices for $2.75 each) for a cheap meal. The concept at CeCe's reminds me a lot of a fast food chain so I think they could have some lasting power with so many people struggling from tighter budgets.

they have one cicis but it is about 15 miles from my house. There is another pizza buffet down here that is close to my house, but they are no where near as good as cicis.

Miami doesn't have its own version or similar types of these restaurants there?

I'm not real big on pizza any way. but the CeCes here also has a couple of pasta dishes to chose from as well as a small salad bar. They are also putting out a variety all the time and it's an all you can eat pizza buffet. when we have gone we were able to order the kind we wanted too. Not bad for an all you can eat for the price.

My son introduced me to CeCe's. I wasn't at all impressed with the pizza, but the salad bar was okay and the desserts were awesome! I couldn't get enough of those cinammon buns! LOL The price is good, if you have an average to large appetite. I have a pretty small appetite so it really doesn't pay for me, but it's nice to stop in if you're out shopping or something and get hungry for something fast other than a burger or chicken. I could totally fill up on just the salad and those cinammon buns!

I like Ci Ci's pizza very much. But I got a brownie and it was burnt. It was very crunchy. I was like what kind of brownie is this. I thought it would be soft and good but I thought wrong. Anyway, I really like the pizza and I am hoping that I can go there again. Very good taste.

Well buffett is nothing new, Gambino's, Godfathers, Valintino's, they all have them so the concept isn't new. As for the quality, well that will always be different depending on the chain. Is this a chain? Of course it is. I have to say that I was a commercial about them and by the looks of it, I wasn't impressed. Not something that I would go out of my way to eat at. I am a pizza eater and I make a wide variety at home. I'm often unimpressed with others, but the above listes chain resturants have done good in that area. They have had pizza buttets for many, many years and they are done well.

sounds to me very similar like the pizza hut buffet. Except there the pizza is kept under hot tables and you go and help yourself and they only offer it at lunchtimes and change the pizzas every so often. This means like one hours there is veg the next meat and so on. Also they offer free refills on your drinks. it sounds like this pizza place is just trying to change this concept and you never know the local review might have been written by the owner.

like Ci-Ci's pizza buffett. Grant it it may not be the very best ever in the world... but it's good for hte value. Plus.. you can order any kind of pizza you want delivered to your table at no extra cost. The buffett is all the most common ones, then you can order what you want as well! I like it for a little casual dining experience!
