Yes definitely , but with much difficulty. The question is redistribution of resources in a way that employment is generated, food stuff are produced in good quantities in the poor countries . But profit motive comes in the way to such a decision .Poor people are low in purchasing power , so you have to make the food stuff available at cheaper rate initially. For the process of production to start ,you have to set up the infrastructure there . But who will do that? Such question arises because profit is minimised in such activities . And in todays world few are interested to go for low or no profit ventures . Here comes the role of the Government of such countries .But they are also weak financially and politically . They have to prun their wasteful expenses such as defence budget. For this a peaceful atmoshere around the globe is necessary which can only be ensured by rich countries by reducing their huge huge defence budgets and shiphpone some part of such expenditure for the cause of initiation of the process of production in poor country. Thus I think a peaceful global atmoshere is prerequisite fo alleviation of poverty from the earth. But going deeper into the matter we are likely to find that we the individual persons would not allow this to happen . We are also more interested in wellbeing of ourselves only and not of some other country's people. If we see that some of our interests is sacrifised for the benefit of some poor nations , we are very likely to vote out the government who did such human act . So ultimately the ball is at the court of the individuals of the rich countries. If they think positively the task is very possible.
