Waffels

Hello, I am making this discussion because my family is a huge waffel fans. I make home made waffels on the waffel maker. I am wondering how many of you people like waffels? Do you perfer homemade or store bought? Do you eat them plan or wit syrup? Also I was wondering what kinds of different waffels do you like? When ever I make them I will eat one plain in between every 2 made batches. I am going to make chocolate chip waffels soon. I hope they turn out good. Has anyone ever had chocolate chip waffels? If so are they good? Please share how you make your waffels and what flavors you use in the mix. Happy Mylotting

I like waffles, but I prefer pancakes. I like to eat them with butter and syrup or sometimes I will just smear peanut butter on them. I don't normally add anything to them, but sometimes I will use blueberry muffin mix.

Oh goodness that sounds so good. I like pancakes with peanut butter also. I will have to try that with blueberry muffin mix. That is such a great idea that you do with the blueberry muffin mix. Happy Mylotting

They come out a lot softer than regular waffles when you use the muffing mix. I have toyed with it a few times and done things like add some baby cereal to thicken the mix up a little.

Well for breakfast I made bluberry waffles for the boys and I. When you said that I had to make them. I used a little bit of pancake mix and used a whole package of blueberry muffin mix and oh my goodness were they good. Thanks for posting the response because without it I would not have made them.
